Hey there!
We’re thrilled to introduce you to Bitmo, our new bitcoin application here at M Genio! We’ve poured our passion and expertise into creating this app, and we can’t wait to share it with you.
You can dive into all things Bitmo and discover what we bring to the cryptocurrency world right here.
Stay tuned to the M Genio Bitmo blog, where we’ll take you through each screen and highlight every feature. By the time you start using the app, you’ll be a pro!
No need to worry about information overload. We’re breaking everything down into easy-to-digest blog posts, one each week, to keep things light and enjoyable.
Join us on this exciting journey, starting today with a look at the home page!

When you first launch the app after signing up, this is the screen you’ll see. Let’s walk you through each feature (The numbers displayed in the image above correspond to each feature):
- QR Code: Easily scan and send bitcoins using the QR code generated from your crypto address.
- BTC Balance: This shows your available bitcoins and their current value in your home currency. For example, if you signed up with a US mobile number, it’ll display the value in dollars.
- Lightning Balance: Lightning is the fastest way to transfer bitcoins between users, measured in SATs. To use the lightning network, fund it with blockchain bitcoin. Once funded, your lightning balance will be displayed here.
- Quick Send: Quickly access your most recent transactions for easy sending.

5. Recent Transactions: View your last five transactions, including both blockchain and lightning.
6. Footer: This appears at the bottom of every page and includes the following features (from left to right):
- Home: Takes you back to the homepage (the screen you’re currently exploring!).
- Transactions: View all your past transactions.
- Bitmo Button: The heart of the app, allowing you to send and receive bitcoins on both the blockchain and lightning networks.
- Notifications: See all your notifications.
- Profile: Update your personal information and account details.
We hope you found this guide helpful and are excited to start using Bitmo!
